The neighbourhood of Oakmount is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of Halifax is very car friendly. Finding a parking spot is easy, and it is a very short drive to the closest highway from any home in this neighbourhood. In contrast, travelling by transit can be difficult in Oakmount by reason of the low service level.
