The neighbourhood of Sunnyside can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Sunnyside is a fairly convenient part of Halifax for pedestrians; running common errands is easy on foot. However, the bicycle is a somewhat poor mode of transportation in this area because travelling by bicycle is rendered difficult by the typically hilly topography, and there are a limited number of bike lanes. Driving is an excellent transportation option in this neighbourhood. It is a short car ride to the nearest highway from any home in Sunnyside, and accessing a parking spot is easy. However, this area is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences.

Services

It is very often feasible for property owners in Sunnyside to do grocery shopping on foot.
