Transportation

Dartmouth Road is very car friendly. Nearby highways are easy to access from anywhere in this part of Halifax, and it is especially convenient to access a place to park. However, Dartmouth Road is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Dartmouth Road is not especially well-suited for walking as few common errands can be run on foot. Dartmouth Road is also not especially bike-friendly because the cycling infrastructure is rather limited, and there is a significant amount of hills.

Services

It is convenient to access the closest grocery store by walking in this neighbourhood. With respect to education, it is a reasonably short walk to get to schools and daycares from anywhere in Dartmouth Road.
