The neighbourhood of Hemlock Ravine is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is very often the favoured way to navigate this part of the municipality. Parking is quite easy, and it is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway from any location in Hemlock Ravine. In contrast, this area is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. This area is not very convenient for those who travel by foot because many daily needs are impractical to meet without the use of a car.
