After more than 10 years of renting, Lara helped us buy our very first house last year! As first time home buyers we were absolutely terrified by the immensity of this commitment and we knew nothing of the quite convoluted process of buying a house. We first contacted Lara at the very end of March, 2019, we went through negotiations on two houses, and eventually we finalized everything and became house owners on May 1st. It was a crazy month and I don't think we would have made it without Lara. She was awesome! She explained the whole process, answered all of our questions, kept in touch with us with WhatsApp, helped us sign most of our documents remotely with electronic signatures using DocuSign and kept us on track with Brivity updates. She was very flexible whenever we had to meet for house viewings or something else. She made this whole daunting and overwhelming process so easy! We didn't miss any work - we mostly handled the paperwork in the evenings and Lara was available the whole time to answer questions or help! When our first choice for a house fell through (not because of Lara), she came up with alternatives in the same area - we ended up buying one of the houses she suggested. She gave us information on the area and the houses in the area and when we went to view our future house, she gave her honest opinion about pros and cons and suggested possible points for the price negotiations, which ended up saving us some money. The negotiations were very fast and we are very happy with the result! In addition, if you don't have your own home inspector, mortgage broker or lawyer, Lara can help you connect with such people. We used the home inspector and lawyer she suggested and we are very happy with the service! And last but not least, Lara's personality makes her a joy to work with! She's open, friendly, cheerful and considerate and she really cares for her customers! We got her contacts from a friends of ours, whom she recently helped buy a house. He was also very happy with her service. We love our new home so much! Thank you, Lara, you were wonderful!

Lara helped to smooth the transition of moving from Vancouver Island to Calgary. Much of our work happened trans-provincially and her recommended supports from document reviewers to home inspectors proved valuable on many occasions. She remained supportive through an extended buying process and was particularly helpful in negotiating a price that was in line with the area I moved to, yet reflected complexities of the specific property (i.e. future maintenance). Lara used a variety of communication methods (e.g., email, phone, text, WhatsApp...), which was invaluable in accommodating my dynamic working situation. Further, as I was unable to be present on the day of possession, she worked with my family to complete the transaction and welcome me to my home. She is personable, quick, and I would highly recommend her services to prospective buyers.

We first contacted Lara online regarding a house that we were interested in as a revenue property and she was able to give us great information about condos and town houses that we hadn’t even considered. She set us up to receive daily emails with properties that were in our criteria and was always easy to contact if we had questions, Lara took us to see many condos and gave us great advise, and was very patient with us.
