Saraguay is a neighbourhood within Montréal, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Saraguay enables house buyers to travel by different modes of transportation. This area is quite transit friendly. The neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most homes. In contrast, Saraguay is not particularly well-suited for walking because common errands are at times challenging to run without having to resort to a car. Saraguay is a fairly convenient part of Montréal for cyclists. More specifically, it is an even ride to most locations. Driving is usually the best approach to get around in this neighbourhood. It is easy to park, and many properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute Chomedey.

Services

Both primary and secondary schools are convenient to access on foot from anywhere in Saraguay. However, daycares are not especially numerous and accordingly not always within walking distance. As far as food is concerned, a portion of home buyers in this area may be able to reach the closest grocery store on foot, while others will need another means of transportation.

Character

The character of Saraguay is exemplified by its calm ambience. Greenery is present in this part of the city as there are many tree-lined streets. The majority of locations in the neighbourhood have good access to public green spaces, including Parc-Nature du Bois-de-Saraguay, since there are a few of them close by for residents to enjoy. Most areas in this part of Montréal are quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several louder areas, especially around Autoroute Chomedey or one of the railway lines.
