Transportation

The preferred means of transportation in Kawartha is usually a car. It is very easy to find a parking spot. On the other hand, Kawartha is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. Kawartha is not particularly well-suited for those who travel by foot because few common errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle. Cycling is also occasionally challenging in this neighbourhood because there are a fair number of hills to challenge cyclists, and there are few bike lanes.
