Coldsprings is a neighbourhood within Peterborough, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Peterborough metropolitan area.

Transportation

Moving around by car is very convenient in this area. Nearby highways, such as Highway 7 & 115, are especially easy to drive to from anywhere in Coldsprings, and parking is quite easy. In contrast, the public transit system in this neighbourhood is not very convenient. Coldsprings is not very conducive to walking as most daily needs are sometimes difficult to meet on foot. Coldsprings is also not very amenable to biking since there are a good number of elevation changes, and the bicycling infrastructure is rather limited.

Services

A vehicle is almost always needed in this part of the city to access the closest grocery store. With respect to education, primary schools and daycares are easy to access on foot from anywhere in this area. In contrast, there are no high schools in Coldsprings.

Character

Coldsprings offers a vast selection of green spaces to enjoy. Although Coldsprings does not contain any public green spaces, parks are sparse in nearby neighbourhoods, making it easy to reach them. This area can be relatively noisy, since during busier hours of the day, traffic can occasionally be loud.
