Transportation

Active property owners will enjoy the reasonably pedestrian-friendly nature of Grand Woodlands; many common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. In contrast, this part of the city is not particularly suited for biking as the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and there are a good number of slopes. Driving is a great medium of transportation in Grand Woodlands. It is easy to find a parking spot, and it is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Highway 403, from anywhere in this part of Brantford.

Services

In Grand Woodlands, families will typically be able to get to primary schools and high schools by walking. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools. On the other hand, daycares are not numerous and accordingly not always within walking distance. Regarding food, the closest grocery store in Grand Woodlands is usually only a rather short walk away. There are also a limited number of choices for those who appreciate restaurants and cafes in close proximity.

Character

Despite the somewhat busy feel, there are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Grand Woodlands. It is easy to get to parks since there are a few of them close by for residents to unwind in.
