Woodlawn is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a very good means of transportation in this area. Nearby highways are very easy to reach from any home in Woodlawn, and it is very convenient to park. On the other hand, Woodlawn is not an especially pleasant part of Halifax for moving around by public transit. Nonetheless, residents are served by approximately 10 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally very close. Bicycling is convenient in Woodlawn. However, there are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this neighbourhood, despite the fact that many common errands can be run on foot.
