Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in South Woodside. Parking is quite easy, and many homes for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway. On the other hand, this part of Halifax is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. This part of Halifax is not very amenable to bicycling since South Woodside has a fairly poor bicycling infrastructure, and cyclists encounter a considerable amount of elevation changes. It is also impractical for pedestrians to navigate South Woodside as running daily errands is sometimes challenging.

Services

It is a very short walk to get to primary schools from any location in South Woodside. In contrast, there are no high schools in this area. As far as food is concerned, accessing the closest grocery store on foot is possible for some, but not all, home buyers in South Woodside.
