The neighbourhood of Rutledge is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of Halifax is very car friendly. It is straightforward to park, and nearby highways are quite easy to access from any home in this area. However, getting around by public transit is difficult in Rutledge. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Travelling on foot is not particularly feasible for residents in Rutledge since running daily errands is sometimes difficult by walking. Rutledge is also not especially cycling-friendly because the cycling network is not very comprehensive, and there is a significant amount of slopes.

Services

Families will welcome the proximity to primary schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from the majority of homes for sale in Rutledge. On the other hand, this area does not have any high schools. Regarding eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is required to buy groceries.
