The neighbourhood of Nantucket is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The preferred method to navigate this area is usually driving. It is very convenient to find a place to park, and the majority of houses for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway. In contrast, commuting by public transit is difficult in Nantucket. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are generally nearby. Commuting by bicycle is easy in this part of Halifax. It is at times difficult for pedestrians to get around in this area since most day-to-day needs are sometimes challenging to meet by walking.
