Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Lower Sackville is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Lower Sackville is an extraordinarily good part of Halifax for moving around by car. It is especially convenient to access a place to park, and nearby highways are reasonably easy to reach from any location in this part of Halifax. However, commuting by public transit is challenging in Lower Sackville. Nonetheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. Bicycling is sometimes difficult in Lower Sackville because cyclists encounter a considerable amount of elevation changes, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed. This community is also not very conducive to walking as few daily needs can be met without having to use a vehicle.

Services

Parents and their kids will appreciate that no matter where their house is situated in Lower Sackville, daycares and schools are close by. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools. In terms of food, some, but not all, house buyers in Lower Sackville will live within walking distance of the closest supermarket.
