The community of Lakeside is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is very often the best way to move around in Lakeside. Many homes for sale are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, and it is very easy to access a parking spot. In contrast, this community is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, property owners have access to a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically just around the corner. This community is not very well-suited for walking because very few daily errands can be run without the use of a car.
