Hatchet Lake is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in this part of the municipality. It is especially convenient to find a parking spot. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the municipality are located in areas that are not very conducive to those who travel by foot as most day-to-day needs are very impractical to carry out by walking. The bicycle is a somewhat poor method of transportation in Hatchet Lake as there are very few bike lanes, and there are a good number of hills.

Both primary and secondary schools are easy to get to on foot from most homes for sale in Hatchet Lake.
