Transportation

The car is usually the favoured approach to move around in this part of Halifax. It is very convenient to park. It is very difficult for pedestrians to move around in this community because almost no common errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle. Clam Bay is also not very cycling-friendly because there are a good number of slopes, and there are very few bike lanes.

Services

Clam Bay does not have any high schools or primary schools. As far as food is concerned, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is required in this part of Halifax to access the nearest supermarket.
