Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Chaplin is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Cars are a great mode of transportation in this area. Parking is easy. This part of the municipality is not very suitable for those who travel by foot because almost no daily needs can be met by walking. Despite the fact that some bicycling-friendly areas exist, Chaplin is also not very conducive to biking since there are a fair number of slopes, and there are very few bike lanes.
