The neighbourhood of Birch Cove is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Regardless of the medium of transportation, it is reasonably convenient to travel in this part of the municipality. Birch Cove is transit friendly due to a few nearby bus lines. Walking is also quite feasible for house buyers in this part of the municipality; many day-to-day errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle. Getting around by bicycle is convenient in Birch Cove since the cycling infrastructure is quite extensive.

Services

It is difficult to reach the nearest supermarket by walking in Birch Cove. Likewise, this part of the municipality is a fairly good place in which to eat out. As far as education is concerned, it is a short walk to access schools and daycares from most homes for sale in Birch Cove.

Character

Birch Cove is an excellent neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm environment.
