Many of the houses for sale in this part of West Vancouver are located in places that are not very convenient for those who travel by foot since running common errands is very inconvenient. It is also at times difficult to commute by bike in this part of the municipality because there are few bike lanes, and there are quite a few elevation changes. Nevertheless, biking is more feasible in certain areas than others.

Parents and their children will value the proximity to primary schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from the majority of properties for sale in Eagle Harbour. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood. In terms of food, home buyers in Eagle Harbour typically have to rely on a car to travel to the nearest supermarket.

This neighbourhood is also reasonably good for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although there are still several noisier sections, especially close to Highway 99, Trans-Canada Highway or the railway line.
