Located within the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Burnaby Lake is a neighbourhood within Burnaby, British Columbia.

Transportation

This part of the city allows home buyers to move around using several modes of transportation. The reasonably good public transit access makes transit a viable option for many people thanks to 2 rapid transit stations (Sperling-Burnaby Lake Station @ Platform 2 and Sperling-Burnaby Lake Station @ Platform 1) on the Millennium Line, and a few nearby bus lines. This neighbourhood is also quite cycling-friendly since there are a good number of bike lanes. Walking in Burnaby Lake is not very common, even though many daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. However, driving is usually the best method of transportation in this area. It is a very short drive to the nearest highway, such as gaglardi way, from any home in Burnaby Lake, and it is very easy to park.

Services

High schools are convenient to get to on foot from anywhere in Burnaby Lake. However, this neighbourhood does not have any primary schools. In terms of eating, getting to the nearest grocery store on foot is feasible for some, but not all, property owners in this part of the city. Residents of this part of the city are served by a few restaurants as well.
