Part of the Greater Kamloops metropolitan area, Southgate is a neighbourhood within Kamloops, British Columbia.

Transportation

This part of the city is reasonably conducive to biking because this neighbourhood is home to a good cycling infrastructure. Southgate will also attract physically active home buyers because it is quite suitable for walking; many common errands can be run without the use of a car, and there are also a good number of businesses in proximity. Getting around by public transit is sometimes challenging in Southgate. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. On the other hand, the car is usually the preferred mode of transportation in Southgate. Most properties for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, and coming across a place to park is easy.
