Most of us only go through the house purchase cycle 3 or 4 or fewer times in our lifetime. For me, our most recent purchase was only the fourth home purchased in 45 years of living in Calgary, Alberta. I purchased my first three homes in 1982, 1993, and 1997, without a real estate representative. This was because no one had taken the time to explain the benefits of working with a single realtor as my "representative". Harry did that! And, I am truly in debt to him for every and a year because he did! Harry truly represented us through out our entire search, research, viewing, decisioning, inspecting, offering, countering, rejection, and repeat cycles for looking for our current purchase in Calgary. The process involved multiple trips to multiple homes over a number of weeks. Harry flawlessly arrived ahead of us, opened doors and lights, and researched the homes we were interested in. All of the homes we researched were found via an online listing service that Harry set us up to use. Harry listened actively and learned the peculiar requirements that we had for a home. In fact, this was made more difficult because we were searching for a home for our son and daughter in law who are living in North Vancouver and would not be making trips to Calgary to be involved in the process. Harry learned with us as we used the internet to relay information about the various homes we were viewing back to our children in North Vancouver. It was actually a "FUN" process, so to speak. :-) Now, normally this might not seem very significant, but all this was happening through April, May, and June of 2020 at the hight of the COVID-19 epidemic. Harry and we were being as careful as we could to wear masks (most of the time), disinfect, and wash hands before and after each viewing event. It all went without a hitch. In the end we found the perfect home for our son and daughter in-law in a neighbourhood that was close to the downtown (their preference) at the price they could afford, and with the features they were interested in. We would recommend Harry to anyone looking for a realtor who will take the time to understand your needs and work closely with you as you learn more about your next house purchase. There is very little I can think of that could have been improved in our entire interactions with Harry. Harry was very responsive in all aspects of the buying and selling. He had a good marketing approach for our house and found us a way to get a good deal on our new house.

We were demanding buyers and we are experienced investors, so as such we had a clear and not easily met set of parameters for this transaction. Getting a deal done required some challenging communication with the sell side, and Harry's extensive business experience was very helpful and complimentary during the negotiation. He understands not only business, but also the emotional side of real estate deals.

Harry was very thorough and always made sure I was aware of what was going on both during my selling and buying process. He touched base often, and reminded me of things I needed to get done, providing me with check lists and timelines, which I found extremely helpful. He was always easy to contact and happy to chat. He made me feel like I was his number one priority at all times. I needed to sell my home fast, and with the current market I had nightmares of not being able to sell for months and months. Harry was very realistic about pricing, he priced my house extremely well, and I was able to accept an offer that I was happy with within one day of the home being listed! When shopping for a new home, I really appreciated that he respected my budget and didn't show me anything out of my reach, and that he was very accommodating of my schedule and enthusiastic about attending as many viewings as possible with me. Would hands down recommend Harry to anyone and everyone in need of a realtor.

Harry was always very professional in assisting us with finding the perfect home. His neighbourhood knowledge and property value knowledge was an asset. He was never pushy or demanding and when it came time to placing an offer on a property he was very good at explaining the process, securing us the right price for the perfect property.
