John was very patient as an agent. My wife and I had a very specific list of "must haves" for our home. Within 10 feet of walking in the door both my wife and I knew John had found our home. I spent a lot of time looking for a home without the help of an agent with no success. John nailed what we were looking for in short order.

John also sold our old home and was a great advocate in a tricky time in the market and am currently working with John looking at investment property.

John Surtees was a great agent who helped me sell the property in a reasonable time at a price close to my goal sale price. In the back and forth negotiations after an offer letter was presented on the property, the settling price was fairly close to the opening offer, with a difference of about $500 being the point of contention, he argued for my offer and it was accepted. The sale was effortless and quick. I highly recommend John and his team.

Our real estate deal was in my opinion long and drawn out and complicated. At times I was very nervous but our realtor calmed me and navigated through the deal really well.

We had a limited amount of time to find a property and complete a move in city that we had little familiarity of. John helped us initially by adding focus to areas that we should concentrate on. Once the sale was final and we were all moved in, and not yet knowing anyone in the area I needed a personal favour with regards to our child, and John helped us out with that as well, for which we are really grateful.

Out of curiosity, I called Remax for a market evaluation. I had no intent on selling any time soon, but was very interested on the value of our home. John showed up the same day, he was professional and optimistic. After we received our evaluation, we casually searched for homes online...this ended up with an accepted offer on a new home leaving us with only 3 days to list our house! John was great with the stress of a quick listing and his communication and suggestions were greatly appreciated. I was lucky when I chose John to help me find a property that suited my specific needs. I wasn't even planning on buying for a couple years, but wanted to know the lay of the land. He sent me 3 separate profiles of properties that I wanted information on. and never once pressured me to buy. But when I did want to see properties and flew in to do so, he and his colleague set up viewings for me and spent the entire day with me travelling over half the island. Again- NO pressure. He then set up viewings for my family, looking FOR me, And then finally set up viewings for a good friend living locally to view a few more for me. I finally bought after 3 years, and then John and team continued to over deliver services. I was professionally assisted to meet inspectors, have water samples taken and more. paperwork was a breeze, negotiating advice helped me get a fair price. I could not have done this without such excellent service.
Considering what I have seen from other agents in my home town- one pressuring a good friend to buy after only a few showings and telling my friend that she was wasting the agents time. My expectations were low, but now seeing what agents can and should be- I've re-evaluated the business. John and his team are Stellar.
