Part of the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Old Town is a neighbourhood within Airdrie, Alberta.

Transportation

This area is reasonably conducive to bicycling as there are a fair number of bike lanes. This area is also quite suitable for walking; many daily needs are convenient to meet by walking. The public transit network in Old Town is rather limited. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, this neighbourhood is an extraordinarily good part of Airdrie for getting around by car. Most real estate listings are a short drive from the closest highway, and finding a place to park is easy.

The closest supermarket in Old Town is usually only a very short walk away. In addition, a cafe is often just around the corner, and residents of Old Town are served by a few restaurants as well.
