Beaches is a neighbourhood within Chestermere, Alberta, which is located in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in this part of the city. It is especially convenient to find a parking spot, and it is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from any location in this neighbourhood. However, the public transit service in Beaches is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Beaches is not very conducive to walking because most day-to-day needs are difficult to carry out without having to resort to a car. Although the cycling infrastructure is good, bicycling is also at times difficult in this neighbourhood because there are a fair number of slopes to challenge cyclists.

Services

Daycares and schools are very easy to walk to from anywhere in this neighbourhood. With regards to eating, it is rarely feasible for house buyers in Beaches to purchase their groceries on foot.
